Hey Guys,

I'm converting my current system into an open-air test bench and also getting some other components to make it all a bit better. I've always liked the look of an open air test bench, but haven't had the time to really do this until now. The next few weeks will probably just be me getting all the parts and making sure I have everything.

Components:

  • Dimastech Easy V3 (haven't ordered yet, but thinking about getting Silver)
  • Corsair HX1000 PSU
  • Gigabyte X79-UP4
  • Intel Core i7 3930K
  • 16GB Patriot Signature RAM (4 x 4GB)
  • 2 x Gigabyte GTX670
  • ASUS DirectCU II GTX660 (dedicated F@H folding card - will go to new rig soon)
  • Intel 520 Series 120GB SSD

Cooling Components:

  • Phobya UC-2LT CPU Waterblock
  • Phobya Pump (can't remember the model)
  • Phobya Tube Reservoir
  • Phobya 240mm G-CHANGER Radiator w/ 2 x Noctua NF-P12
  • XSPC EX360 Crossflow w/ 3 x 120mm XSPC Xinrulian Fans
  • 2 x XSPC GTX680 Waterblocks (they fit the GTX670) - haven't bought these yet, but they'll be coming soon
  • PrimoChill Tubing - haven't decided which ones

Other Stuff - The stuff I'll forget to budget for but end up costing an arm and a leg:

  • Sleeving for the tubing
  • Sleeving for PSU cables
  • Black cabling to make custom cables
  • Cable crimper
  • Assorted plugs and adaptors and all that sort of stuff
  • Probably some assorted cables that I haven't worked out yet

But yeah, it's all looking quite good and ready to go at the moment, I'll update you guys with more information and pictures as they come.

Cheers :)
