I am planning to put powerline adapters by christmas, because in my apartment we have 7-8 wireless networks all in the same channel, and I have no idea how to change it. the only place for the router is 12 meters away from the computers, so when i used a laptop to measure speeds, i had a three times the wireless speeds with a cable.

But the signal that comes out of the decoder (through a ethernet cable) also has the phone data on it, and then goes into another box (just gonna call it black box) to separate them.

Can I run both ethernet and phone signal trough the powerline, or should i get the black box in the living room where all the computers are?

PS.: I am NOT using PoE, each of the "boxes" has it's own power from a wall socket.

I am totally confused, help appreciated.

Powerline sould just be the same as using a cable. only using your house wireing.
So if the combined phone+internet cable is also a RJ45 cable, it should work.
It will be slower than cable but faster than wifi, and the signal you put in should come out the other side.

I make Rainmeter things and other art :D

yeah, but the house phone has a different signal than internet. can i run both of them separated through the powerline or the signals might get messed up?

powerline doesn't use phone, its plugged into your wall power sockets for electricity.
