Hello good morning I am having a bit of a problem recently which I cannot seem to find the solution for it. I have just recently bought a 4gb ram stick to put with my previously bought 4gb ram stick after placing the ram inside my computer I noticed that there is no noticeable improvements in games that require more than 4gb Call of duty black Ops III (please dont judge me) when I went back and ckeck dxdiag I saw that there was 8gb ram inside my computer however when I check the system properties I saw 8 but only 3.79 or so usable. I have tried alot of so called solutions on the internet however they have not worked hence Im here looking for some help. I really need a reply soon because it is really frustrating. BTW i am using two different memory stick brands kingston hyper x and gskill ripjaws but both are 4gb and are running at 1600 mhz. Need some help just to work out this situation fast.

The most basic but important thing, what OS and version are you running?

CPU: AMD Sempron 2400+ / MOBO: Abit NF7-S2G / GPU: WinFast A180BT 64MB / RAM: Mushkin DDR333 256MBx2 / HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 120GB

Can only think maybe booting from each stick to make sure both work separately then making sure to use the proper slots for dual channel
