Good/bad decision?

Im a bad decision maker and I bought an r9 390 at microcenter for 165+tax but is it worth the extra 100 for the slight performance gap between it and the 480? I wanna keep it for 2-3 years on my 2560 by 1080 ultrawide

If by "slight performance gap" you mean "lower TDP"... well, depends if you run your GPU on load 24/7 or not. If you don't, then no. If you do, then it'll pay off after a few years.

For your saved $100 u get less tdp, better performance at higher res

Idc about tdp but I really don't wanna spend the extra hundred cause from benchmarks it's not a huge difference
