Hello everyone,

I'm currently planning on my a personal PC build for gaming and programming(possibly game development). This is my first personal rig but isn't really my first time building and I was hoping to get some feedback and recommendations on the parts. My Budget is about $2300 CAD ($1747 USD) I can go up to about 2500 ($1898 usd) but would rather stay under the $2300 cad mark.

PARTS

======

->intel core i7 6700k (plan on overclocking in the future)

->noctua nh-u14s cpu cooler (will upgrade to water cooler when I overclock in the future)

->Asus z170 motherboard

->Giel evo potenza 16gb DDR4-2400

->samsung 850 evo 250gb ssd + wd black 1tb hdd

->evga gtx 1080 ftw (but might wait for 1080 ti as I want as high performance graphics card as I can get)

->Fractal design define s with window

->Corsair RM750 fully modular psu

->Gigabyte GC-WB867D-I wi-fi adapter (not sure if it's necessary as I would use ethernet most of the time)

->windows 10 home

->noctua nf-a14 industrial ppc-3000 case fan

Any tips would be great thanks

You could just get an NH-D15 now which parallels quite a few water coolers and would allow you to overclock now. Also, you only need a 550W PSU for your system and if you're using Ethernet why do you need a wifi card?
