Just wondering if there is any possible way to overclock a I5 4590 on a H97 motherboard or is it completely locked?

no overclocking...it's locked.

You can ''maybe'' get a 100mhz boost on a good day with a following wind by messing with the base clock...but you need to know what you're doing and haswell does not react well with baseclock overclocking...so, you should consider you can't overclock it...at all.

That sucks it is just because of some games I play are CPU dependent and even a extra 200mhz would make a ton of difference.
