msvcr110.dll missing, can't seem to find solution

LOL

I solved it, I came to think of the sysWOW64 folder as well. placed it there, and now the drivers are installing.

so me and a friend just formatted his harddrive, and installed Windows 7 again on his computer. so far, it's gone alright, but when we got to the point of installing the drivers for his graphics card, we bumped into an error. it says "the program can't start because MSVCR110.dll is missing from your computer. try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."

I googled it, and all the info I've got is that it's got to do with Visual C++ 2012. but when I try installing it, it gives me the same error.

You could potentially download just the file.

Usually what I do when these errors come up is just reinstall windows.

I did that, and placed it with all the other files in the system32 folder, but didn't help. I also tried expanding it, but no help from that either.

sitting here wondering about installing Windows 7 again, and doing it all myself, he always messes something up.

Try repairing the installation of the Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable

I'd probably just reinstall windows then.

Did you completely remove the 2012 C++ installation?
