hey,

i have a couple of questions to ask.

first can i use a tesla card for rendering like on a 3ds max or after effects

second i want to know which will render fast a watercooled overclocked 1080/watercooled overclocked titan or a tesla/quadro

thanks,

for After Effects with and without my RX480 OpenGL Boost Enabled i see barley any difference.

IDK if this is because my CPU is crap but i would say that the CPU is more important for AE rendering then a GPU....correct me if i'm wrong please.

First, what renderer are you using for 3DS Max? Mental Ray? Vray?

If Mental Ray, you need to invest into CPU more. If Vray, invest into GPU. The Titan X (pascal) would render the fastest, but the Quadro features more VRAM (Useful if you have large scenes).

If I also remember right, AE depends more on CPU than GPU for the effects, but they're slowly getting better at using CUDA for more things.
