100 dollar cpu

so i need a cpu for my build and cant find anything good anyone know something good im going to use it for light games and heave games so i need a good cpu

AMD athlon 880k (i3 is better if you can afford it)

 

what currency though USD, CAD, NZD, ??? Dollars aren't all the same.

thats a 2 core and the amd fx 6300 is 6 and its cheaper but pc partpicker says something i dont understand so i want at least 4 cores.... thx anyway

Need a currency, and what is the use for it, if gaming the i3 is a better choice.

 

EDIT: it has hyperthreading so games will see it as a quad core.

If you cannot get an i3 6100, the fx 6300 is the next best option, and the athlon 880k/860k after that. From what I am seeing both the i3 and fx are over 100€.

Pick up a used cpu.  you can probably find a decent used i5 or i7 not more than 3 or 4 years old that would outperform a new i3 or AMD chip.
