So I started off with a bunch of videos of the family, roughly around £30GB in size on my laptop
At some point in time I used bitlocker to Encrypt the folder in which they were in (note the folder encryption not file encryption)
This folder becomes green in windows explorer

I then later on encrypted the full disk of this laptop (which above said folder is on) so technically the files are now double encrypted

I then moved the entire folder containing now around £30 GB of holiday films, videos and such forth important files to my desktop and they are deleted from my laptop

by moving files away from a drive which has bitlocker full disk encryption the full disk encryption should be removed from the files, but the original file encryption is still there

Around 2 years pass, in which the files would show on my desktop as green (indicating they are encrypted) but I can still access them, I thought all was good
Now all the files I copied off my laptop are giving me "access denied",

I have tried

1. Moving them="Access Denied

2. Decrpting them= According to the desktop, in the properties window they are not encrypted, hence the checkbox "Encrypt contents to secure data" is not checked
The folders are all black like normal but the files inside them are all green, indicating they are all still encrypted

3. Booted ubuntu/linux in an attempt to move the folder back to my laptop, ubuntu said access was also denied

4. Tried to rename a supposedly encrypted file (with green text). IT WORKS. So I click play... nah access denied

5. Click a folder>properties>advanced>Uncheck encrypt                     Result: Checkbox already unticked

6. Click a  file(WITH GREEN TEXT)>properties>advanced>Uncheck encrypt                     Result: checkbox successfuly unticked, click okay, click apply "access denied"

I still have all my encryption keys but yeah I cannot move these files back or do anything useful with them, they are just sat there out of arms reach.

Anyone got any ideas, the files are just sat there in my hard drive with thumbnails and all, and cant do anything with them except rename them, They were working fine last week, my desktop has never had any form of encryption on, my laptop has had file encryption then disk encryption then the files were deleted.
