Surface Pro 4 m3 Version or Other?

Hello guys

I'm looking for a 2in1 for School and Media Playback. 

I was consider a Surface Pro 4 m3/i5 base model, since i wont need much power and i don't want to pay too much. I'm planning to get one during black Friday this year. The pen is the most important thing i need on this "Tablets" but i don't know if they are worth it or if there is something better these days. 
For good Battery life and portability should i stay on which model? Also is there any other 2in1 (With Pen) that costs less and have Windows as OS?

Depends on you, if you plan to multi-task a lot or do any editing of sorts (like video editing), i5 should suit you. But if you do light note-taking and multi-tasking, Core m3 should suffice as it give you more battery life due to its 5W TDP. If I were you though, I don't mind spending another $100 for the i5 so I wouldn't sacrifice much when it comes to multi-tasking.

@ErrystioT I might go fro the i5 if the price difference is not too big since i think some more power may come handy for Big files etc.

@Mi26 I can't find a new Surface 3 anywere, looks like Microsoft stoppe shipping them...
