Hello, I have a problem with my ASUS Maximus VIII Hero Motherboard when I start my pc, there is no audio from the speakers. To fix this I need to restart my computer for the audio to work. How to fix this? :/

1. Check all the connections

2. Check that your speakers are set on default.

3. Try updating drivers

Also, does your PC's front panel have an audio jack? If yes try plugging it there.

It does but what is the point of plugging it into the front if there is a dedicated connector at the back?

To see if it's the a hardware or a software problem.

It must be software. Windows sees sound comming from speakers. Speakers work. Asus does not support front panel audio.

I currently have the 7103 Bios. Is this the latest one? I tried installing a different bios and it said that its not a valid file.

I removed the driver and restarted my pc and it installed a driver and it works the first time after launching the pc but now there is nothing like control hub to control the Equalisers or so.

None of the bios serial numbers on the website start with a 7, but there's a BIOS version that came out last monday so you may want to update to that and see if it makes a difference.
