Where are volume controls now?

Windows just updated again so im sure there are a whole host of new scavenger hunts, first of which being the volume. The icon is gone. Where is it now?

Uhhh...just updated mine, icon still in the same place. Do you still have sound?

click on speaker icon, in bottom right, (or the list of small icons in the consolidated list).

The speaker icon isnt there any more, thats the point.

Go to Settings > Personalize > Taskbar > Turn System icons on or off > enable volume

 

I make Rainmeter things and other art :D

Restart explorer.exe. It works for me

CPU: Intel Core i7 8700

The update was more than likely rushed when MS realised that the last Cumulative update had a problem because it required IE, something that was removed in a previous Windows build.

But @I Need A PC Build ASAP is probably correct too OR maybe the higher-ups at MS wanted to counter the latest Apple product the iPhone 7 which is headphone jack-less and got flustered on the delivery part of the project...:S
