what to do with old server

got a server rack and 2 monitors and 2 servers one is a old ibm and the other is 44p model 170 any ideas what i can do with it

well.. i'd need more than "some old IBM" to tell you how useful/useless they are

 

that said, if you can put the rack somewhere it's not in the way, hang on to it, that shit's expensive...

POWER3 is a very old architecture and you probably won't get any decent use out of them. The model 170 is going for around $500 on Ebay and you could probably get something similar for the other one depending on the model. You could use the money to get a much more modern server that will perform better while consuming less power.

Nah I use them for networking usually and for school. Sometimes mass data or running calculations. I basically use them like a University does. I do render Geographical locations with known oil deposits because I am interested in petroleum engineering
