Hello!

So I need a bit of help here... I'm not that great at writing scripts, but I would like some advice on one I would like to put together.

I need to create a script that would preform the following actions in order in the background:

1. Begin script automatically on user login/power on.

2. Quit any Adobe Creative Cloud background operations.

3. Open multiple specific files in folders with Notepad.

4. Edit said files by changing select digits in a line of code in each of these files.

5. Have the script sit idle for a set number of days

6. Repeat

The other alternative would be to have a folder with 2 identical files with only slight differences and have a program scheduled to pull file A to a designated location, wait six days, and then pull file B to replace file A in that designated location and have the cycle repeat.

If this all sounds shady to you, allow me to explain. I'm in the process of transferring my entire video editing process over to the Adobe Creative Cloud, but it is taking me more than several days to learn the layout and become comfortable in Premier Pro and other Adobe apps. Believe me when I say money is tight, and I can't quite afford (nor do I make the money) to purchase a monthly/yearly subscription to the Adobe Creative Cloud, especially if I don't quite understand the programs yet. Come early next year, if the art schools I applied for accept me, I'll have to accept that they will require me to purchase the apps in order to attend or they may provide a student accept membership (one can only hope...). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks again and have a wonderful day. xD

Can you just move a old version of the file in place?

You can scedule this with windows task scheduler.

Not sure about that. The code in each file, once opened by Notepad, gets change slightly.

Ex: "130819922" might be changed to "130829922" and then after six days or so passes, the script changes it back to "130819922" and essentially, the process just repeats over and over.

I guess I could make 2 files that where IDENTICAL and ONLY changed that one line of code and have windows task scheduler interchange those files to a designated location every six days. Could that work?

you could make a copy script that runs every 6 days. I don't get what this files is for(I have CC)

This is unethetical, but you can get a crack of adobe CC

I know theres cracks out there for CS6 and CC, but some of which i'm skeptical of. Some require you to download third-party programs and they usually aren't the latest versions of CC.

Can't you just make a new account every month?

Ive done that without problems

Well its not as much as it is a problem as it as a hassle. Adobe also recently cut down the monthly free trail down to just 7 days so I would be repeating this every week.
