SO I found this bundle deal online consiting of:

1 .Intel Core I7 6700K CPU

2 .ASRock Fatal1ty Z170 Gaming K4 ATX

3 .G.SKILL Ripjaws V 16GB DDR4 2400Mhz

Before I found that I was thinking of buying the same CPU but with the Asus Z17o Pro Gaming and Kingston HyperX 16GB DDR4 2400Mhz.

Which one is better for gaming and not much overclocking??

They'd be about the same. Find the one with better aesthetics and features like USB 3.0 ports and go from there.

RAM and motherboard provide very little for gaming in general. RAM speed will only affect the iGPU with an appreciable amount and the motherboard doesn't net you any frames.

I don't really care about asthetics. I care about performance, reliability, ompatibility and that stuff. Looks won't matter to me.

Lmao, that's what I thought at the beginning. By the time I actually bought all my components, I had spent $300 on aesthetics alone and 500 more on watercooling.

Thank you. So the cheapr one would be a better option because they have the same features?

Pretty much. I prefer going for more muted tones and more USB 3.0 ports. Otherwise they look the same to me versus minor differences that aren't likely to affect you.

Kingston and G. Skill both make perfectly good RAM, so nothing to differentiate there.

ASUS and AsRock both make great motherboards these days. Go with whichever's cheaper.

Aerocool DS are the best fans you've never tried.

My vote goes to the Asrock.

One less PCIe slot of minor consequence. Less USB 3.0 by two. Otherwise nothing that screams "don't take me!" comes up.

I only need 1 PCIe slot. WIll the Asus GTX 1060 be compatible with the motherboard?

Yes. It would be compatible with any PCIe 2.0 (or 3.0) x16 slot. I wouldn't go with Asus for GPU since the customer service is lacking when compared to the motherboard support they offer.
