Hi, i have recently decided to come back to pc gaming so I'm trying to put together a mid range gaming rig. Here is a build I've put together.

I am mostly worried about physical compatibility issues along with fan/power supply selection. If you see any good alternatives for parts, please let me know as well. Thank you!

First of all, I would go for a better PSU, as that one is made pretty cheaply. Go for a EVGA G2/P2/B2.

Second of all, you should get a Windows key off Kinguin, which can save you money.

Third, you don't need the 212 Evo, the stock fan is really quiet and can handle everything that CPU can throw at it.

Last, (this is only a personal choice) but I would go for the Corsair 460X for just $20 more.

how do you tell if all parts will fit into the case? or do most set ups fit into mid towers?

Unless your MoBo is a E-ATX board, you can fit anything into a mid tower case.

I personally like this ssd but it's your choice http://pcpartpicker.com/product/NLs8TW/crucial-mx300-750gb-25-solid-state-drive-ct750mx300ssd1

Buy a retail version of Windows 10 and not OEM as Retail is transferable if you're ever upgrading or replacing the motherboard and OEM is a one time only install

You don't necessarily need to buy a cpu cooler for a non overclocking cpu like the i5 6500, the stock one is fine
