Should i install games on another hard drive?

I have a 1TB hard drive with windows 10 on it, and a 500gb empty hard drive. should i install games onto the 500gb one  & keep 1tb hard drive clean w/ just windows.. what good would it do me? better performance? or?

What brand are they? What is rpm/ read/write on each of them? We need a bit more information.

Depends on the drive speeds, what models are they?

CPU: AMD Sempron 2400+ / MOBO: Abit NF7-S2G / GPU: WinFast A180BT 64MB / RAM: Mushkin DDR333 256MBx2 / HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 120GB

Depends on the drives some HDD are faster then others for gaming i'd recommend 7200 rpm one so check if they are both the same speed wise also why'd you put windows 10 on a 1 tb drive ?

What others say, but if same speed don't bother. Better save up for a SSD from 250GB atleast. Samsung 750 are good budget SSD's.

You could use the 500gb to backup some of your more important files from the 1TB, or use it as the default drive for downloads. I have an old 250GB drive full of only application installers and some backed up media files.
