I'd make a PSU upgrade your next priority mainly because it's quite a low quality unit if it's green label CX or CS. 

He means a CX650M.

CS units aren't the greatest but they aren't bad. They're... how shall I put it, early international-model Great Wall PSUs, which frankly aren't bad but aren't great.

No 144Hz is the refresh rate, so the max amount of frames per second (FPS) the monitor can put out. 

 

1440p is the resolution, I'm fairly certain you know what that means.
