ME Catalyst benchmark, sort of

So the system using a GTX 760, i5 4460 and 8GB of RAM. Resolution is 1920x1080

ME Catalyst has 5 settings to choose

  • LOW AAx2
  • MEDIUM AAx4
  • HIGH  x16
  • ULTRA x16
  • HYPER x16

With this rig I was able to get 70 and maybe 80 fps on low

Medium however gets around 40-50fps. Very enjoyable since this game is not that of a shooting combat where precision is key

High is around same margin 30-40 and could drop below 30

But what strikes me is that it could play on Hyper at 22 at lowest end and reach up to 30 and some fps higher like 34-36 too. Very playable.

Also I noticed there wasn't much frame rate difference between ultra and hyper.

Motion blur is low, medium, high, ultra and hyper respectevely

And some useless benchmarking

The FrostBite and EA logo is around 80 fps at any settings

Loading menu is 200 fps and drops to 40 when struggles to load

Cut scenes is around 80 too.

Pause menu is 60

You will be running a lot so I see no reason for you to stop and stare at some object except inside elevator which most of them are plain or transparent so you can't see much detail.

Yes I do see difference but it is not really worth it especially the original ME was one of my favorite game and was so hyped when this game released but now on sale of some sort because it was 80CAD now 40 (EA guy gave me a 15% discount too).

Yes. I can optimize the game by going custom and changing some settings to balance quality and performance.

Frame rate recorded with both FRAPS and ShadowPlay.
