New Router Recommendations

So my Buffalo WHR-1166D router is being a little piece of crap lately, either dropping the 5 Ghz band entirely or losing internet connection on a DAILY basis, while annoying it's not a huge issue for me personally as I now how to fix it, the issue is we do EVERYTHING through internet in my house, Netflix, Sling, Playstation Vue every source of video for my dad comes over the internet and (A) he doesn't know how to fix it, sometimes after resetting you have to go through the setup process and with his Parkinson's he won't remember how to do it or which device it is to unplug and (b) I don't want him having to come down the stairs when I'm not home to do it.

So what I need is a RELIABLE Wireless AC router (will do some 4k streaming over wireless from external drive to laptop or from phone to TV), It would be awesome if it had an app I can access and use to reset with my cellphone when not at home (incase it happens again), I would also like for me for it to have a USB 3.0 port so I can turn my external hard drive into a NAS that I can then use an app to stream to my devices when outside the house (Personal Cloud type stuff) and stream to my Shield TV and other android devices when inside the house. I would like to keep the budget under $200 US, whats a solid reliable router with those features around or below that price point.
