from what i am told he said last time he had the computer on he had to wait about 30mins before the bios showed up

Try resetting the BIOS to defaults as well as deleting the profile and see if that helps

to reset the bios wouldnt i just take out the coms battery and also use the jump or is there a setting within the bios to do so because the bios isnt even showing up now since it turns on and off by it self

Sounds like the components have degraded over time and your original overclock will no longer work at that level.   A lesser or no overclock is working.

Also - the 'save bios settings' prompt probably means that the cmos battery is flat - replace it.  (its usually a CR2032 battery on the mother board (a flat round silver one).

The CMOS battery maybe to low, I have had PC that dont boot at all because of it so try replacing it

do u guys think i have anything to worry about since the computer does turn on but the bios is just hard to get working i mean it did work at one point

also i forgot to mention he said that the computer turned off on him at one point it sounded like it could be a bad PSU which is odd because the one he had is new
