AM3+ Silent Cpu fan

i want a silent cpu fan for a fx 8320. i have tried the stock fan which is a jet engine, and a hyper t2 which is silent on idle but gets very loud. my case on this pc is a corsair spec 02. any ideas for a quiet cpu fan???

you should be able to, it should come with a thing you screw onto the fan (the cpu cooler if its not stock)  that lets it clip on the heat sink, if not see if you can take that off your current cpu fan, or order some with the fan
