need help with 27inch vs 34inch

so pc is finally built i7 6700k 16gb ram gtx 1080 will be overclocking  now need to find a monitor not sure between the 34inch 1440p 100hz or 27inch 1440p 144hz i play most games do love games such as bf1, darksouls tomb raider etc the 34inch cost $1600-$1800aud and the 27inch is $1000-$1300aud is the 34inch worth the extra $$$$

Monitor size is a personal choice just pick the one which suits your space better. If you want higher hz get the 27inch but if not get the 34 inch.
