Maybe just keep the system until kaby lake/zen drops and then replace the entire unit with a new PC?

What games are you playing?

If you are playing basic games like Minesweeper, your PC is overpowered, but if you are playing extremely graphically intensive games like Windows 2000 3D pinball, you may want a much more powerful GPU. :P

I have an MSI GeForce 680 with either 2 or 4GB of RAM. I can't remember how much. It works great and is all that I need really, but I don't play games a lot.

7 minutes ago, mok said:

what resolution are you playing games at?

and asking what parts are due for an upgrade...is the wrong question without context
are you actually having issues running games?

1080p no problems apart from you know lowering settings on more demanding games 4 years does that haha
