What are you using to decompress rar archives with? There is a new RAR compression algorithm in new versions of Winrar which isn't compatible with older versions, so if you're trying to open those archives with older programs they can't be decompressed.

Update the software you're using to extract rar archives with, check out 7zip or Total Commander latest version, or go to the source and get WinRAR

Anything else that would corrupt binary files would be over-eager antivirus programs or viruses, can't think of anything else.

In rarer situations, web servers are poorly configured in such a way that they would close connections after a fixed period of time, so your downloads may be incomplete because the server kills the download before you're done.  So you may not have a corrupt file but rather an incomplete one.

Usually when I download broken .zips (usually from emuparadise), I just have to open them in WinRAR and they're fine.

Post the links for those files so we could double check them for you, if they're not behind some subscriptions or no accounts required to download?   (i could also decompress them and repack them in zip or something that would work for you)

Everything unpacks just fine here. I've uploaded them to a FTP server I own, so you can download the original files, a repack (content of both 7z files in a zip), or you can download the files one at a time if you want.

Server supports resume and download with multiple threads for better speeds so if you want you can use something like Filezilla FTP Client to download faster than using web browsers

Link is here: ftp://helpedia.com/pub/temp/mods/

(i've added "zz_" in front of the big archives, so you don't mix them with the content of the archives)
