Ultrawide and brightness

I recently got this ultrawide lg monitor:

And i was wondering if setting it to 85% brightness could damage the screen in any way? The contrast is set by default to 70%.

I don't see why it would damage it in anyway possible...

You can run it on 100% brightness and still be fine (if you need it to be that bright...)

Oh and good job picking up a 29 inch.

The 25 inch model was way to small. I got this 29 at 210 euros and i am happy with it.

Totally, and for me, once you go ultrawide, 16:9 just looks wrong, after I make the change to 21:9, I question myself why didn't I change sooner and that price sounds about right.
