Need advice on system upgrade

I will be upgrading my set up soon and will be getting a 144hz monitor i plan on buying a 1070 would my I7 3770 non k cpu bottleneck the 1070 as i will want 144fps to match my monitor? My cpu is at stock speeds at the moment but i plan on overclocking once i have a all in one water cooler.

It depends on the games you're running and at what settings. However, the GTX 1070 won't get you 144Hz on maximum detail for the more recent AAA games as a heads up.

Maybe 1440p at high or 1080p at ultra

I don'y expect maximum settings and aa but atleast on high i was also considering crossfire rx480s

Here is a great comparison of all the recent generations of i7 processors, including your 3770k:

As you can see more recent cpus are at best marginally better than yours, so no there should be no bottle neck.
