Motherboard help

Hello, does anyone know any cheap motherboards that support a 6th gen intel CPU and DDR3 RAM?

get an older cpu, I7 5600K. the 6th gen doesnt support DDR3 I don't think

I have no idea for the motherboard.

Don't buy a motherboard that supports 6th gen CPU and DDR3 - its going to reduce the life of your CPU significantly. That is because DDR3 uses 1.5V and DDR4 uses 1.2V. Skylake is designed to use lower voltage on the RAM.

Issue is I had an i5 6500k given to me so already have a 6th gen cpu

then upgrade the motherboard, get a budget motherboard (matx it fits in any case) and get some DDR4 RAM sticks, and whammo! you have a upgraded PC.

ASRock has some nice matx ones, they are super cheap, support DDR4 and LGA 1151

why ddr3? ddr4 is much faster and is about the same price.

I just have had ddr3 in my computer this isn't a fresh build

sry, but you are not going to find any lga 1151 boards that support ddr3, they can only support ddr4
