Quadro and GTX cards on H170 boards

I've read that H170 does not support SLI and only AMD Crossfire (Eg. https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/H170-PRO/specifications/)

But I'm thinking of installing an Quadro card (for CAD & 3D stuff) and a GTX card (for Adobe PP).

Will this work, since I'm not SLI'ing?

SLI serves one purpose and one purpose only: gaming. You don't need it for anything else.

You can SLI quadros to use for professional work as well it isn't just for gaming, many quadro cards have SLI fingers, but you cannot SLI a quadro and a gtx card.
