How much difference would it make if my notebook has a gtx 950 4gb ddr3 compare to a 2gb ddr3 gtx 950

probably a GTX 950M and I don't think it'll make a whole lot of a difference. What laptop do you have.

Haven't buy one just confused if I should be concerned on the extra 2gb of ddr3 on the graphic card

You're confusing RAM for VRAM.

 

The 950 uses GDDR5 as VRAM, DDR3 is something different.

Will do so in from now on. I was just confused to either get the gl552vx rog or the ideapad 700 since on the GPU ideapad seems to offer more but battery wise, rog is detachable. As I am using it for gaming most of the time and also for my college work so battery quality is prior.
