Thunderbolt hub

Hey guys so for our office we want to have one of our rooms special. For our game development office we thought about doing a mixture of 2 things Linus did 7 gamers 2 cpus and the gaming from a gaming computer in a different room via Thunderbolt.  What we want to do and we already have the parts we want to use a 24 core computer and split it into 4 6 core virtual machines and have it in our server room all the way in the basement.  Does anyone know how that might work?  I was thinking Thunderbolt but I couldn't find anything that I could use that takes output from the computer and then sends that to a Thunderbolt hub...
