I had been given a 64GB SSD by my dad's friend. I was going to install Linux on it and dual boot but as I added it in, the computer booted of it. Windows XP!  I had unplugged my other drives, so it was not 7 pretending. (Some-times it does when loading) and XP then immediately bluescreened. (Not surprising) It kept bluescreening even in safe mode.

As a young geek, I really want to dual boot it. But I looked it up, and not only has it the wrong mobo drivers, I think my CPU is not compatable. (i7 2600 3.4GHz 4 cores)

Is there some way I can?
