Hey guys I got a deal in a local computer shop. He's offering me a mint condition AOC P2460PG g-sync for $400(canadian dollar, or about $310 USD).

Although I own a Nvidia GPU I've never tried g-sync before. Reviews online said this monitor is pretty good.  I am wondering if anyone using it or have used it before? Do you think the premium for g-sync is worthwhile?

The monitors I am using now are the Sony 24' 3D monitor and a 21' Dell monitor I bought in 2009. My rig is 6700k+1070. Games I play are BF4, wow, Diablo 3 etc.

thanks for your input!

Edit: typo

G-sync just gets rid of screen tearing when you turn Vsync off. also makes frame fluctuations much easier to swallow, which you'll probably experience.. though i would look into the window which g-sync operates, as some monitors limit gsync functionality to a certain Hz range

You don't need a 6700k for gaming. A overclocked 6600k would be good enough.

e already has it and for VR which is becoming a thing it matters

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

Thanks for the info. Is there a place in the Nvidia Control Panel I can check? Thanks
