PETG & UV Light Issue?

l have heard that there is a issue with PETG tubing under UV light? something about the PETG changing shape after a while and due to this chance of a leak. Can someone please shed a bit of light on this, reason for asking is Monsoon do PETG tubing in different colors and some of there PETG tubes are UV?

I have seen this mentioned a few times, but I've never seen anyone actually encounter it. Myth or real, I don't know. Could be true but only after 10 years exposure or something like that, but I'm not sure. From what I recall reading though, I don't think it 'leaks' per se, rather it will evaporate due to microscopic nano leaking, or something like that. As I say, I've not heard of real world examples of it happening.
