Yes you absolutely can get an incredible viewing experience, very futuristic with the right coloured hardware and crystal tubing. I hope you understand setting up a clean build with liquid cooling tubes on all parts is a real challenge ^^.

Because i would like to overclock and ive heard you can get better looks and cooling out of it

you could achieve that with an all in one water cooling solution for the cpu, i thought you meant a custom water loop (where you have to make your own water tubes etc). what do you all need for this build, peripherals? do you have any items you want to reuse?

edit: oh shit i misread your reply, scrap the first part

I'm no expert in liquid cooling, but I can leave you with a $2000 build, then you can use the rest to get your custom watercooling.

So doing a water build can be a lot of work. I know you want to do soft tubing, but I suggest watching this video of Linus doing a hard water line build, just so you get the basics of what it takes.

Are you wanting to watercool just the CPU? Or the Graphics Card or Cards as well?

You can also cool the PSU which is more tricky.

I would say with a $3500 dollar budget, I would do $1000 for peripherals, like monitor, keyboard and mouse.

This is a great build. This way you can still upgrade and it doesn't break the bank. Additionally with $1500 for peripherals you can get a 4k ISP monitor or a 1440 p 144hz depending on preference.

And wouldn't you want a bigger power supply if you plan on doing water cooling? For pump etc

I will eat my hat if a reasonable watercooling pump uses 130W of power

The Seasonic Prime is basically the best PSU out there, and comes with a 10-year warranty, so I'm not worried about its endurance.

But the build uses 2 gpus aswell. thats a lot of power consumption and gets pretty close to 650 there's no cushion

GTX 1070s consume 150W each. They're not R9 390s, not even 980 Tis.

The system build consumes 530w plus a pump would be close to 600, but draw is inconsistent and can go from 600-700, because of power fluctuations

It will not go over 650W. Draw is inconsistent but always stays below 160W for GTX 1070s

And what the hell kind of pump consumes 70W?
