It has worked great for me so far, in my previus rig i had gtx 760, some 5 y/o gigabyte mobo, 2 sticks of 4gb hyperx ram, a 3 tb hdd, and a bulldozer cpu. I personally trust it since the psu necer failed me but... If you are all so sure.

Most PSUs will fail at least a set period of time before failing. Just because it's existed in a PC of yours before doesn't mean it isn't terrible.

It´s not that it existed in a pc of mine, it is currently on it and im using it, and it never failed me, so i dont know if it really is the problem. Either way i acknowledge its a piece of shit... a currently working one, but a piece of shit nonetheless.

I used a cheap 650W psu for a while, and it lasted less than a week. In the end, it couldn't even output 100W. Try an XFX PSU. Just avoid their XT series.

its common sense if things are not lighting up and fans are off its obviously a power issue or a mobo issue

Care to upload a picture of your MB setup so we can see everything hooked up?

If nothing is powering on, either your PSU isn't delivering enough power or no power, MB is defective, or a combination of the two.

Just checking, but you've ensured you've put in all 24 pins completely? One thing to note with cheap PSU, is the connectors sometime suck and will push a pin out when you attempt to plug it in.

And lastly, ensure you haven't accidentally forgot about the switches on the back of the PSU. Power on/off and correct 120/240 setting if applicable.

If you're reeplacing the PSU get a EVGA SuperNOVA G2 550W. Corsair don't really make very reliable low-end PSUs, but their high-end 1000W+ AX and HX-series are good.

*UPDATE* I sent the build to a technician and the first thing he did was check with another psu to see if that was the peoblem. It wasnt, with neither psu did the pc boor neither post. He will diagnose further and get the results on friday (he currently has no ddr4 rams nor ddr4 mobo's but hes getting them on wednesday, so thats the delay)
