New CPU installed...

"New CPU installed please enter setup to configure your system"

 

The screen shows this every time i start my PC, i havent installed any OS yet.

how do i fix this? What do I do?

My MOBO is ASUS Z97-E

Probably should press F1 to run setup.  This will happen until you install an OS because the computer has nowhere to go unless you enter setup.

I have entered setup with F1 but i dont know what to do there?

I think setup takes you to the mobo BIOS and you can do things like adjust fan settings, clock speeds of the CPU and RAM, hard drives etc etc but just install an OS and you should be fine.

Actually, That message appearing at each boot means the cmos battery might be going bad, the computer should NEVER loose contact with the cpu while the system is off or on for the matter,

I just bought the motherboard, its completely new
