multiple CPU's????????

Jordessey

i have just built a computer from oldish server parts as a challenge set by friends, i have it all set up apart from one thing... windows 10 is only utilizing one of the two available intel xeon quadcore CPU's. the BIOS shows both cpu's and the device manager displays all the CPU's and their respective cores as working normally but task manager and resource manager are only displaying that they running one CPU. is there some hidden settings that i need to change or am i just stupid... i really need some help

Right click on usage in performance and change it to logical cores. does it show all the threads there?

Are you using Windows 10 Home or Pro?

That's the problem, only Windows Pro and up can use multiple CPU. I've had the same problem with my Abit VP6 in the past and both of its Pentium III.
