There can be a difference of about 10% & in some cases its same.

It depends, because some x99a are coming with updated bios out of the box.

The Titan XP would definitely surpass the GTX 1080 when it comes to gaming... as for GPU acceleration for video editing, I would bet the Titan XP to again beat out the GTX 1080 for the most part but there may be certain programs/scenarios where they'll be equal.
