So I just finished my new build, and after getting everything all set up, I've been running stress tests to make sure everything is running smoothly. I was hoping for a sanity check just to make sure it's all good.

Parts list:

Motherboard: Asus Z170-A

CPU: 6700K (overclocked to 4.7GHz at 1.300V)

Case: Fractal Design Define S with only the stock fans in their stock locations (1 front 1 back) and all moduvents closed

CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D15

GPU: Asus GTX 1070 Strix

Current ambient temperature is 25C

CPU Temps (Max Core Temp)

Idle (Average):  38C

Full Load with Aida64: 67C

My main concern is the idle temperature. It seems like it's a bit high. Although I do have the fans running on silent.

You really shouldn't be concerned with the temps.  That's pretty normal, even the load temp.  Now with my 6700K, it's at like 60 degrees IDLE, yet my parents don't seem concerned at all -_-

Why would they concern your cpu having high temp?
