As long as the new motherboard your using isn't DDR4 only. DDR3 is still good RAM

Can I reuse ram or do i need to buy new sticks

What is the motherboard. What DDR are the rams? What are their frequency?

Such generic question... can you make a bit more specific please? As in, what are the sticks you have and where you intend to reuse them.

Really need more information to answer that. What are you upgrading from, what are you upgrading to? Are you trying to fit them in your Honda?

from am3 motherboard to 1150 motherboard

if they are both ddr3, you can almost use them. if your motherboard supports the frequency of those rams then you can use them

It will usually work to some degree but you can never be sure

It should work just fine. You can reuse your DDR3 RAM.
