Hi Guys,

I've had the game for a while now but haven't been on for quite a long time. In the interim I've managed to forget just about everything I learned. Are there any decent guides out there? I went in game, managed to call up a ship, flew it around, poorly, and managed to knock off a wing. It's now sitting on a pad and I have no idea how to get it fixed, or to do missions, or to get the damn thing started even. Dumb luck the first time, mashed a handful of keys and I was off!

Any direction to some guides would be appreciated.

Here is one from relatively recently with the same controls.

 

To take off, you press SPACE for up strafing (CTRL for going back down). Press N to enter/leave landing mode. A and D are strafe Left/Right. W and S are Up/Down throttle. Press V to change between the flight modes (PRE: Precision/Slow, SCM: Combat speed/Medium, CRU: Cruise/Fast No Maneuverability). You can quantum drive to other locations by selecting quantum toggle (B), and selecting with USE (F). Cry Astro locations are where you can repair. If you have aUEC you can repair.
