Looking at a review by Hardware Canucks as well as some other people I've determined (albeit only by visual cues, nobody has explicitly stated so, I would LIKE to be proven wrong so please shout it out if I am) that a push/pull radiator will not fit in the front due to the hard drive cage that I do plan to utilize and it won't fit on top due to covering up the top part of the motherboard, where the x99 deluxe [regular atx] has a 6-pin power connector that it needs. Is there a case about the size of the 400c that allows for full length psu's, and large graphics cards, but also allows for at least one push/pull 280mm radiator? I know that's quite a bit to ask for a case meant to be somewhat small however there's always a shining star somewhere right, I just need yall to point me in the right direction.

On an off topic note maybe it's because I'm using Microsoft Edge but trying to format this is a nightmare I give up lmao

Shipping sucks

It should fit just fine if you don't need a rad larger than 280mm.

Literally the first image in google image search for '400C'

The Evolv ATX actually has the issue the OP describes where a push/pull rad in the front would block hdd mounts.

a rad (shown in the pic) that thickness wont benefit from a push n pull, if OP has a thick rad then he should really be looking at a bigger case.

unless OP has really crappy fans then yeah it could benefit from it, also the 280 wont cover all the drive bays

I'm not going to argue over push-pull temps, I simply have fans and would like to use them; so congrats, call me an idiot lmao

But which hdd drive will it not affect, because in that pic they're all gone

Both the 400C and Evolv ATX have a drive cage behind the shroud for drives.

A front 280mm in the Evolv blocks off all of the front drive sleds.

the basement has a detachable plate for extra long rads so the drive cages can be placed at the top while the rad is at its lowest point partially in  the basement.

if you read the spec's youll know the images show two 140 mm fans at the front with space for a single drive at the top and there being 3x 2.5in slots

Not much of a point to swap out two drive mounts from the basement to one at the top.

5 and a 1/4 I believe; a regular HDD

5.25 inches? that is the optical drive bay size

3.5 inches is the large HDD and

2.5 inches is SSD or Laptop HDD

but corsair generally use 5.25 for there drive trays to reduce vibration noise

looking up at the current cases how about this:

http://www.corsair.com/en-gb/carbide-series-740-high-airflow-atx-cube-case

same as the 540 but a new look the optical drives are replaced with 3x 5.25in cage that holds 3.5in drive trays.

This is a cube case so it will be wider, the 280 rad can be fitted on the top bottom or side.

Its generally difficult to transfer a big rad to a new case as it restricts your choices, you could downsize your rad if you have a custom loop and sell your old rad.
