I have the same update waiting to download, not sure that I really want to download and reinstall the OS. Although I would like to be able to have access to my NAS by network mapping again, wonder if that is part of this "HOT-FIX"  update.

Might do a backup now before anything changes...not that it will be broke after...but I might just do it *in case*

Hope that fixes your problems calling MS would have been the next thing to suggest...that page looked quite time-consuming. Is that what the tool suggested you should do BTW @RyomaSJibenG ?

Those who deny freedom to others deserve it not for themselves (Abraham Lincoln,1808-1865; 16th US president).

i've used the tool, it troubleshoots and say some part of the update is corrupted or something like that and in the end couldn't fix it

but since i'm already on microsofts help page, might as well just contact the tech support

and yes, i'm fully updated now it only took around 30 minutes downloading the updates and another 15 minutes of installation, but hey as long as it works fine, i'm happy
