I am in the process of learning, and wanting to build a pc, saving some moeney. But if I am going to build, i want to have a nice colour cordinated build with decent quality everything. therefore i think of a white and orange build. How do you think these coulores match. I wondered if it is possible to swap out the stock fan from the cryorig h7 with an orange riing fan from thermaltake? thanks in advance.

Yes, that's fine.

I've been wanting to do an orange/white themed build as well but I don't have much of a reason to.

Doable if it's the same size.

Just wanted to add a question, how many of the riing fans can i have on a normal itx board? What do i need to get more connected if it is not enaugh?

Depends on the case. Check the website of whatever manufacturer you are buying the case from, they include this kind of information.

It's possible! But, kinda overkill:

I know, it is most for show off, but i want good airflow, and that wow factor. + i was hoping i didn't need a seperate led strip with that many fans.

let me rewrite the question: how many fan connectors is there on a normal itx board (gigabyte ga-z170n wifi) if there is not enaugh, can i use splitters, or do i have to get a fan hub? as mentioned 6 fans total, including 1 for cpu cooler.

It comes with a cpu_fan and sys_fan header. You can use a splitter or hub for more fans.

what splitter can i use, so that it is possible to control the fan speed via software?

You should be able to control fans connected to the motherboard to a degree in the motherboard settings. Fans running off of a splitter will be recognized as one fan and will act similarly.

Use either a 3 or 4pin splitter depending on the fans you're powering.

Can i use a nzxt grid?

The Grid is just a powered hub and will power all connected fans at 100%

The Grid+ allows for control of the fans but they will all be treated as one like when a splitter is used and the Grid+ v2 allows for individual fan control.
