I am trying to do a clean install of windows on a laptop (Acer X52F). I have tried installing Windows 10, and I get an error, that tells me to add a portable storage/dvd with the missing drivers.

I do not know which drivers I am missing, but I downloaded all the drivers I could find for this laptop. After add each one of them it still tells me that I need to add drivers.

I have also tried installing Windows 7, which hangs at "Expanding Windows files 0%...".

If anyone has any idea of what I should try or how to fix it please respond! Thanks in advance !

Are you sure you have listed the model information correctly as all I can find when googling that is an asus laptop with the same model number.

Normally when you get this message, you're normally installing the OS from an external source which includes external USB DVD drives, but a USB drive on a USB2 port can normally get around it (plus when you get to that message, you have to select the browse option to select the driver in question before it can proceed).
