Is g2a safe?

Go to solution Solved by G2A_Team,

Hello,

We are a legit website, though please remember that we do not function as a typical store with games. We are a Marketplace - like eBay - where our external, independent Sellers may offer their keys. We have security means set up for the keys being posted. We have set up a number of solutions for our Buyers to protect them from any issues with bought keys. The Resolution Center is the most commonly accessible one - it is available for everyone and it allows the Buyer to contact the Seller directly with our team managing the conversation and helping in the resolution.

We also strongly recommend purchasing the Shield protection for your orders - this way we will be able to offer even more solutions with an even faster resolution of the issue. The Shield may be purchased twofold - either as a one-time protection for your offer, or as a subscription plan for a small monthly fee.

And sellers may only be rated by someone who bought something from him, that mean seller may not just click to get better one :)

And even in a case of revoked key without g2a shield, you can get a refund for the order you just need to contact our support.

If you have any further questions or doubts, keep in mind that you can always find additional information on G2A's FAQ or by contacting us on live chat or ticket. Our consultants are there for you 24/7.

See you again at G2A

Max G2A Team

Might buy a game there. I usually buy directly from Origin or Steam but want to get ME Catalyst and it is so expensive in Canada. Almost 80 CAD!! I mean I can get a new storage for that. Or a beautiful knife/skin in CS GO

So g2a is selling it for around 30-40 CAD. Do they just give out keys. Do they do refunds? If the key doesn't work

It's generally safe. You can sometimes get a dead key, but if you use their G2A Shield service (about $1 or something), they will ensure you get a working key, even if you have to go through multiple keys. Buying directly from G2A (not through a third party seller there) is generally the safest way.

I've never had an issue with them myself.

It's safe if you buy the protection. If you don't, you're on your own. I've had no issues with about 20 purchases but that's a small sample. You can also sell keys you don't need from Humble Bundle or whatever.

Yellow applies to many things.

So something like this is unsafe?

Extra dollar won't be a problem for me. Still cheaper than original one

Opened the link and the first thing that came up is this lmao

"Worst company to ever try and get anything resolved. I was charged twice for the same game. Ordered a game today and wouldn't give me my key and Niobe is helping."

Now I am confused

The keys will work initially and G2a guarantees that with their protection service you pay extra for. The problem is that they don't really check to see if the keys are stolen or accept keys from "grey area" status (i.e. a key meant for another region but not specifically region locked yet). In the past publishers protested about said keys and even went as far as revoking keys bought through g2a (meaning people who already had the game on steam basically had their game removed)

So there is no way of knowing whether it is region unlocked or not. Damn.

Just use a reloadable visa gift card. Put EXACTLY the amount on it, and then buy. Then when they try to charge you, they cant. It's what I do when I don't trust something. But Amazon and alot of other stuff, I'm like heres this magical number that pays for everything thanks!

I used to have some leftover money on my visa gift card so I spent all of it on some single game and asked Steam for refund to paypal. That way I can do some use with it lol.

It will usually be indicated by ROW (rest of world), EU, NA, etc.

Oh I see now. GLOBAL.

I wouldn't worry too much about having a game revoked unless you're buying from a low rating/sales seller.

But ratings can be changed I think. Some bots could just easily get high ratings. That's what I know from other sites. All of the sellers have at least 97%
