Windows 10 From Reddit

I just built my pc and i need a windows key. On reddit they sell them really cheap and seems trustworthy. I just want to make sure that they are. So id like to know from someone that has experience with this or knows if it's reliable.

Oh that sucks, I've pointed a few people to that video and haven't heard a lot of complaints. How much are they selling them on reddit?

Depends on the seller. They have a small group of trusted sellers.

keys sold left and right on kinguin, reddit and similar are extra keys from volume licence packs that MicroSoft regularly disables

 

don't waste your money - either buy a retail license from an authorized MS partner (or MS themselves) or pirate it

those keys are in the violation of EULA anyways

Think of it as a $100 investment since you can use this license on future computer builds to come.

It works, which means it can be activated. However MS doesn't approve the license as a legitimate license. So decide carefully!

as I said, cheap legit copies do not exist

OEM keys are a double edged sword that might end cutting both ways down the line - OEM license cannot be transferred to a new PC in the case of a platform upgrade

so, if you buy a 70$ OEM license, be prepared to pay again in case you upgrade your system (mobo+CPU)

I got key from reddit for €40 it was Windows 10 Pro x64 .. almost year ago. While it still works and I had no problems with it so far ... I cant say it is 100% legit. If you want to be sure, then you will need to buy the licence the more expensive way I am affraid.

Well I guess I'll just but a legit copy. I was just trying to save some money.
