Yea, dont keep it, as we all have seen its not safe.

Even my country's Airlinehas banned Note 7 on all Flights.

Just send it back for replacement battery and all is good to go. If you don't use styles could also switch back to normal S7. Bit smaller but same hardware.

Agreed you won't be happy with a broken product, but everything can have factory issues. If they offer fix ( and they do) then there is no harm done in just doing that.

I'm pretty sure that "keep it" meant exchange it for the updated and safer version.  

 

I've thought about the iPhone 7 plus, but I don't think I'll switch.  I'll probably just use the temporary phone that AT&T is going to give me until the revised Note 7 is available. The Note 7 has impressed me in just about every way with the exclusion of the battery recall.
